Status:
The drafting team has posted the initial results and its consideration
of comments from the Balance Resources and Demand standards
(BAL-007-011) ballot. The recirculation ballot will begin April 17, 2007
Purpose/Industry Need:
To maintain Interconnection scheduled frequency within a predefined
frequency profile under all conditions (i.e., normal and abnormal), to
prevent unwarranted load shedding and to prevent frequency related
cascading collapse of the interconnected grid.
