Status:
The MVA task team is working
on data analysis and collection of missing regional data. The
SDT is working on responses to comments and revising the
proposed requirements.
Purpose/Industry Need:
To establish requirements
for installation of Disturbance Monitoring Equipment (DME) and reporting
of disturbance data to facilitate analyses of events and verify system
models.
This project involves modifying two
standards:
The project involves replacing
"fill-in-the-blank" requirements currently assigned to the Regional
Reliability Organization, with continent-wide requirements that are
applicable to other functional entities. As envisioned, each
region will supplement PRC-002 with a regional standard that includes
additional requirements.
The project also involves bringing the
standards into conformance with the latest version of the Reliability
Standards Development Procedure and the ERO Rules of Procedure. |
