Reliability Standards Errata
Status:
The NERC Board of Trustees
approved the errata on April 15, 2009.
Reliability Standards Affected:
There are several approved NERC Reliability
Standards that contain errors that, if corrected, do not change
the scope or intent of the associated approved standard and do
not have a material impact on the end users of the standard.
These errors identify discrepancies identified after the
standards were submitted for regulatory approval. The errors
have been preliminarily classified as errata.

Errata Process:
In
accordance with the Standards Committee’s
Procedure for Approving Errata in an Approved
Reliability Standard, if the proposed revisions are
supported by stakeholders and approved by the NERC Board of Trustees,
the associated standard will be corrected and posted with a new version
number and submitted to governmental authorities for their approval.
To reflect that there is a minor change to correct errata, the
version numbers will be updated by adding a decimal point and the
numeral “1” after the decimal point.
