Comment Period Opens for Proposed Changes to NERC Rules of Procedure in Response to Order on Revised Delegation Agreements
 
The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (“NERC”) is proposing changes to its Rules of Procedure as part of its compliance filing in response to the October 21, 2010 order of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (133 FERC ¶ 61,061) that conditionally approved the revised delegation agreements NERC has with the eight Regional Entities (“October 21 Order”). NERC’s compliance filing is due Febraury 18, 2011. NERC’s Board of Trustees has exercised its authority under Article XI, Section 2, of the NERC Bylaws to shorten the normal 45-day comment period such that comments in response to this posting are due February 8, 2011. The Board of Trustees expects to consider the compliance filing at its February 17, 2011 meeting in Phoenix, Arizona.

Submission of Comments 
 
Comments are due February 8, 2011, and must be submitted electronically to rdacomments@nerc.net.  NERC intends to submit these proposed rules changes to the NERC Board of Trustees for approval at its February 17, 2011 meeting.
