NERC Publishes Lessons Learned Quick Reference Guides
ATLANTA – Lessons learned are a vital resource for industry to identify a problem, find a way to mitigate it and share with all of industry. To better help stakeholders navigate the extensive lessons learned archives, NERC developed the Lessons Learned Quick Reference Guides.
These guides provide an easy way to find a specific document by providing a breakdown by category, title, number, and a brief summary of lessons learned by year. The 2016 guide will be regularly updated as more documents are published.
Lessons learned are developed through a collaborative effort between NERC, the Regions and the registered entities and are an important tool for assuring the continued reliability and resiliency of the bulk power system. NERC encourages stakeholders to continue submitting these documents, which greatly benefit industry.
All lessons learned and quick reference guides are available through the Reliability Risk Management web page.
