Workshop Focuses on SCADA Successes and Challenges
WASHINGTON, DC – The North American Electric Reliability Corporation is sponsoring a one-day workshop on March 3 in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., that illustrates how the global community is partnering to evaluate emerging threats and vulnerabilities of SCADA networks. The event, “From Exposure to Closure – The Life and Times of an Exploitable Vulnerability,” highlights the evolution of mitigation development phases, industry successes and industry challenges. Moderators are Tim Roxey, manager of Critical Infrastructure Risk Management and Technology at NERC; and Rick Lichtenfels, acting director of Control Systems Security Program National Cybersecurity Division at the Department of Homeland Security.
