The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) will meet with Transmission Owners (TOs), Transmission Operators (TOPs) and Reliability Coordinators (RCs) to begin working on the Phase 2 design of the Risk-Based Registration (RBR) project. Phase 2 will focus on creating risk profiles for registered functions and applying subsets of standards to each group based on risk profiles. In order to create these profiles and determine applicable standards for TOPs, NERC will be conducting two workshops, one on the East coast and one on the West coast.
By the end of these workshops, NERC will have a technical basis for beginning to design how TOs and TOPs can be categorized by risk profiles and which standards should apply to both registered functions. Please join us for a highly interactive workshop that will focus on TO and TOP functions, and use the links below to register for just one workshop. Seating is limited for these workshops. Once capacity is reached, registration will be closed.
