SPP Regional Difference for IRO-006

Registered Ballot Body
| Related Files | Reliability Standards Home Page

Status
A new ballot pool has been formed in accordance with the Reliability Standards Process Manual

Board adoption on August 2, 2006.

Purpose/Industry Need
SPP is requesting a regional difference from certain NERC TLR procedures and requirements in order to implement their proposed Energy Imbalance Service Market as filed with FERC. The regional difference will allow SPP to supply market flow values to the IDC that represent impacts on flowgates due to energy dispatched by SPP that is not appropriately tagged. The regional difference being requested by SPP is similar to the regional differences that exist for MISO and PJM and has been endorsed by the NERC Operating Reliability Subcommittee.
