Board Vice Chair Named President, CEO of Ulteig; Resigns from NERC Board
ATLANTA – Douglas Jaeger, who serves as vice chair on the North American Electric Reliability Corporation’s Board of Trustees, was named president and chief executive officer of Ulteig, an engineering, surveying and consulting firm.
Beginning June 15, Jaeger will be responsible for oversight of eight offices in five states – Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. The company, which is headquartered in Fargo, N.D., provides services to the electric power, renewable energy, communications and government sectors.
Based on his new duties, Jaeger will step down from NERC’s Board effective August 14, following NERC’s Board meeting in Toronto. “I have been honored to serve on the NERC Board during a time when reliable and secure power is recognized as such a crucial part of our economy,” Jaeger said.
