WASHINGTON, D.C. – Howard Gugel, NERC vice president, Engineering and Standards will participate in a joint meeting of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on March 31. Gugel will join representatives on a panel – Grid Reliability, Nuclear Power Plants & Other Topics – at 9:00 a.m. Eastern to review key findings from NERC's 2021 State of Reliability, 2021 Long-Term Reliability Assessment, the Energy Reliability Assessment Taskforce, and reliability risk mitigation activities.
