Lauby Speaks, Moderates Panel at Mexico Energy Forum
MEXICO CITYMark Lauby, senior vice president and chief reliability officer, spoke on the importance of cross-border energy infrastructure and electricity trade to the North American grid during Dialogues for the Future of Energy 2017 (DEMEX). The event, which took place from September 11 – 13 in Mexico City, provided the opportunity for subject matter experts to discuss, analyze and reflect on future trends and scenarios from the energy sector; to build global synergies; and to share experiences from other countries in their efforts toward energy transition.
Lauby and Christyne Tremblay, deputy prime minister of Natural Resources in Canada, co-moderated a panel at the North American Regional Energy Forum on September 12. Mexican Secretary of Energy Pedro Joaquin Coldwell provided opening remarks at the forum.
Lauby also participated on two panels during the DEMEX events, focusing on grid resilience and infrastructure needs.
