NERC Identifies Key Initiatives, Priorities for Bulk Power System Reliability at FERC Technical Conference
WASHINGTON, DC – The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) participated in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) Reliability Technical Conference today. This conference focused on reliability priorities and key initiatives, and NERC’s 2013 State of Reliability report. The conference provided a forum for FERC, NERC and stakeholders to discuss important reliability matters from diverse perspectives. NERC’s mission, ensuring the reliability of the North American bulk power system, is accomplished through risk-based, fact-driven analysis that identifies the most serious risks to bulk power system reliability, followed by cost-effective solutions to mitigate those risks.  Announcement | Cauley - Panel 1 | Burgess - Panel 1 | Rossi - Panel II | Lauby - Panel III | Moon - Panel IV
