NERC Leaders to Participate in FERC Technical Conference
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is hosting a technical conference on policy issues related to the reliability of the bulk power system. The conference, which is open to the public, begins at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Thursday (June 22) at FERC. The daylong conference is organized into four panels: Overview of the State of Reliability; International Perspectives; the Potential for Long-Term and Large-Scale Disruptions; and Grid Security.
NERC panelists are:
  • Gerry Cauley, president and chief executive officer – Panel 1
  • Mark Lauby, senior vice president and chief reliability officer – Panel 3
  • Marc Sachs, senior vice president and chief security officer – Panel 4
