NERC Leadership to Participate on NARUC Winter Meeting Panels
WASHINGTON, D.C. – NERC experts will participate in the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) winter committee meeting February 14-17 in Washington, D.C. Gerry Cauley, president and chief executive officer; Marcus Sachs, senior vice president and chief security officer; and John Moura, director of Reliability Assessment and System Analysis; will take part in panel discussions over the course of the meeting. 
Panels with NERC participation are: 
·         2 p.m. February 14: Update on GridEx III, Sachs
·         3:15 p.m. February 14: Essential Reliability Services, Moura
·         9 a.m. February 15: Grid Security Perspectives, Sachs
·         4 p.m. February 15: ERO Assistance for States in CPP Plans, Cauley
The reliability and resiliency of the bulk power system is essential for NERC, industry, state policymakers and electricity consumers. This is a dynamic industry with continuous work by many to keep the lights on. The efforts of NERC, industry and government have resulted in a reliable and secure bulk power system for North America.
