Cauley, Lauby Participate on FERC Technical Conference Panels
WASHINGTON, DC – The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) participated in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) two-day, technical conference that began Tuesday. The conference addressed priorities related to the reliability of the bulk power system. NERC President and Chief Executive Officer Gerry Cauley testified on Panels 1, 2 and 4. On Wednesday, Mark Lauby, vice president and director of Reliability Assessment and Performance Analysis, participated on Panel 3 that discussed emerging issues, including processes used by planning authorities and other entities to identify reliability concerns that may arise in the course of compliance with Environmental Protection Agency regulations, and the tools and processes available to address any identified reliability concerns.
