Cauley Participates on Bipartisan Policy Center's Clean Power Plan Panel
​​President and CEO Gerry Cauley participated in a Bipartisan Policy Center’s panel discussion on the reliability implications of the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed Clean Power Plan. Cauley called on EPA to include specific language in the final rule allowing the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to make reliability determinations as necessary to prevent potential electricity resource shortfalls.
Other panel participants included FERC Commissioner Colette Honorable; James Gardner, vice chairman of Kentucky Public Service Commission; William Spence, president and CEO of PPL Corporation; and Michael Dowd, director of the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality Air Division.
