Cauley Testifies on Grid Security at House Subcommittee
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Gerry Cauley, NERC's president and chief executive officer, testified about cyber security protections for the bulk power system at a hearing sponsored by the House Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings and Emergency Management on April 14. The hearing – Blackout! Are We Prepared to Manage the Aftermath of a Cyber-Attack or Other Failure of the Electrical Grid? – focused on managing the response to a cyber attack or another cause of a widespread power outage.
