NERC Participates in FERC Technical Conference on Reliability
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s annual technical conference on reliability took place on June 1. Gerry Cauley, NERC’s president and chief executive officer, and Roy Thilly, vice chair of NERC’s Board of Trustees, participated in the first panel discussion on bulk power system reliability, which highlighted NERC’s recent State of Reliability 2016 report.
Mark Lauby, senior vice president and chief reliability officer, participated on the second panel, which focused on emerging issues. Marcus Sachs, senior vice president and chief security officer, participated on the final panel of the conference, which highlighted grid security efforts.
