NEW FORMAT! Earlier this year, the Member Representatives Committee (MRC) conducted a review of their effectiveness and in response to the feedback received, the MRC Informational Sessions will follow a new structure starting in July. Sessions will focus on sharing more background and context around NERC governance and activities in a digestible, interactive format.
Going forward, the MRC Informational Sessions will include two parts:
• Topics providing additional background and context around activities relevant to the operations of NERC. For the upcoming July 28 session, topics will include an overview of the NERC member and ballot body structure, NERC standing committee structure, and the Standing Committee Coordinating Group.
• Review of preliminary agenda topics for the upcoming MRC, Board of Trustees, Board Committee, and Technical Session meetings.
The agenda package will be distributed one week prior to this session.
