ERO Enterprise Executives Speak at FERC Reliability Technical Conference

​​WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) held its 2023 Reliability Technical Conference, focused on policy issues related to the reliability and security of the bulk power system, on Thursday. Three senior leaders from the ERO Enterprise participated in two panel discussions throughout the day:

  • Panel 1 – State of Bulk Power System Reliability with a Focus on the Changing Resource Mix and Resource Adequacy
    NERC President and CEO Jim Robb
  • Panel 2 – CIP Reliability Standards and the Evolving Grid
    NERC Senior Vice President and E-ISAC CEO Manny Cancel
    SERC President and CEO Jason Blake

The conference concluded a full week of focus on reliability by both FERC and NERC, including the release of the joint Winter Storm Elliott report and NERC2023–2024 Winter Reliability Assessment. A recording of the event is available on FERC​s website.
