Lauby to Speak at Advanced Energy Conference 2022

​ATLANTA – The 12th Advanced Energy Conference (AEC) series — AEC 2022 — is scheduled for September 7–9 in New York and will focus on charting the future for energy through technology innovations, key policy changes, new business models and more. Mark Lauby, NERCs senior vice president and chief engineer, will take part in the “Accepting the Cost of Resiliency and Reliability session from 2:30–3:45 p.m. Eastern on September 8. The panel will address the questions of how the grid transformation impacts resilience, technological needs and policies required to manage the cost of resiliency and reliability across ratepayer categories with different power demands and needs as well as what strategies support the needed investments in resiliency while also addressing the current inequity in energy security.
