Robb, Cancel to Participate in EPSA Competitive Power Summit

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Jim Robb, NERC’s president and CEO, and Manny Cancel, senior vice president, NERC and CEO of NERC’s Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (E-ISAC), will participate in the Electric Power Supply Association’s (EPSA) Competitive Power Summit on March 21. The summit brings together industry experts to discuss the role of competitive energy markets and power suppliers in advancing a reliable energy future for consumers.

Robb will deliver the keynote address on reliability challenges and NERC’s priorities.

Cancel will participate in a panel discussion, “Cyber and Physical Security for a Reliable Power System.”​ Joining Cancel on the panel are:

  • Mara Winn, deputy director, Preparedness, Policy and Risk Analysis, Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response,  Department of Energy
  • Richard S. Mroz, senior director, Archer Public Affairs; and advisor, Protect Our Power 
  • John J. Rovinski, Jr., supervisory special agent, FBI Cyber Division
