The NERC System Analysis and Modeling Subcommittee (SAMS) and its technical subgroups – Load Modeling Task Force (LMTF) and Power Plant Modeling & Verification Task Force (PPMVTF) – will meet with LMTF and PPMVTF meeting concurrently at the beginning of the week and SAMS meeting the latter half of the week. In conjunction with the SAMS meeting on August 1-2, 2018, Powertech Labs has graciously arranged a tour of the BC Hydro Control Center (FVO). The control center is located in Langley, BC, approximately 30 minutes from Powertech Labs and a bus will be provided for transportation to and from the facility. If you would like any specific topics to be addressed during the tour, please submit suggestions to Jessica Harris (jessica.harris@nerc.net). Please register for each meeting separately if you plan to attend in-person. Any registered attendee for LMTF, PPMVTF, or SAMS may also register for the Control Center Tour. Registration is required for entrance through security – early registration is encouraged since the tour size is limited to 24 registrants. The meeting/tour dates are listed below.
